Actually, it depends on your hardware (CPU GPU) performance.
For personal desktop mining and rigs:
1.HashFish (Recommended, no commission and low payment threshold)
pros:
No commission taken by the software itself
Automatically mining the profitable cryptos coin at real time
Withdraw to bitcoin wallet address supported and short withdrawal time
one click easy mining
cons:
More dynamic mining algorithms need to supported
2. Honeyminer( some of your balance will be taken by the team as to support the software, not recommended)
pros:
Nice GUI
easy mining
cons:
commission taken by the software itself
Slow withdrawal time
3. NiceHash(the biggest mining platform, but was hacked in 2017, users are now still waiting for the payout since the accident) Not recommended
Pros:
Simple to use
Pays out in BTC
Cons:
Higher than other pool fees
Slow payout rate (really a byproduct of using BTC and to help mitigate TX fees)
Nonsense with their own wallet vs real wallet (but easily can just mine directly to a real wallet)
Maybe not the most friendly to the smaller coins (as a ton of hash can be turned on them quickly)
Security issue needed to be taken into account
4. MinerGate (totally scam, no recommended)
references about MinerGate:
Minergate experience (Scam or not?)
Minergate! SCAM
For Mining organization / Mining Farm:
1. HashFish (Recommend, no license required)
2. Hive OS (license required)
3. Awesome Miner (license required)
4. PiMP OS and Miner.farm (license required)
